Old tomb inside Kauman Lasem mosque: Aside from tourists interested in history, pilgrims make up the other bulk of Lasem visitors. This area played an important role in the introduction of Islamic culture to the Javanese. There are plenty of old tombs of Muslim scholars here, including one inside the Kauman Lasem mosque.
